The new 6th-floor Neuroscience Institute, owned and operated by Allina Health in the Abbot Northwestern Hospital, is an intensive care unit and neurosurgery center built for patients with complex neurological conditions.
As part of the project 12 ICU and 43 medical/surgical beds were relocated and consolidated into the new space. adaptt partnered with Mortenson and HGA to provide DIRTT interior walls, technology, casework, headwalls, and glass walls. To increase patient comfort wood-veneer-style Thermofoil, nature-inspired scenes, and light washing was incorporated into the walls.
