Setting the standard.
Located on the second floor of 610 Medical is a new 18,000 SF surgery center, operated by Allina Health and Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA). The partnership between the two healthcare providers creates a new delivery model that allows Allina Health and SCA to provide holistic outpatient surgical care needs at a lower cost to patients. The new surgery center includes a spacious waiting area, a private consultation/meeting room, four operating rooms, post-op rooms, a nurse’s station, and back-of-house functions. Custom designed DIRTT walls cover more than 900 LF of the clinic creating a stress-free environment that remains warm and comforting instead of feeling like a traditional medical facility.

The first of many yet to come, this prototype design set the standard for Allina Health and SCA’s partnership. A number of new processes were developed as a standard-kit-of-parts to help streamline the rollout of all future surgery centers.
